Swinging into Summer with Music & Art in the Park

Summer Music in the Park - The City of Texarkana, Arkansas Housing & Community Development Department hosts there 7th Annual Swinging into Summer with Music & Art in the Park. Providing family oriented events during the summer months with the goal of bringing together music, art and community in our city's beautiful parks. Come join us at Bramble Park, Jefferson Park and Bobby Ferguson Park this summer and enjoy a variety of performers ranging from local talent in the Ark-La-Tex. whatever your taste in music we promise you'll enjoy listening to Music in the Park! Pack a picnic basket and bring a blanket or lawn chair. Lots of Door Prizes!

Music in the Park is an annual series of free concerts that take place on the last Saturday in the month during the summer. All Music in the Park concerts will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm in the City of Texarkana, Arkansas Housing & Community Development Swinging into Summer with Music & Art in the Park 2007 Schedule:

Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Bobby Ferguson Park
Gospel from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Jefferson Park
Back to School from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Pick your day and pick your music - there's something for every taste.

Also looking for talented people to show their talent in sing, dances, poetry, rap or etc.
