CONSENT AGENDA

A.

Approval of Minutes of the regular meeting of May 16, 2005.

B.

Adopt a Resolution granting permission to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to have the 2005 Race for the Cure on Saturday, October 15, 2005.

C.

Adopt a Resolution awarding a bid for 2005 Fire Department uniform purchases.

D.

Adopt a Resolution authorizing purchase of protective clothing for the Fire Department.

E.

Adopt a Resolution awarding contract for purchase of Police uniforms and equipment.

F.

Adopt a Resolution releasing the City’s lien on 901 Division Street upon payment and authorizing the execution of a partial release. (PW)

G.

Adopt a Resolution wholeheartedly and enthusiastically supporting the removal of both Red River and Lone Star from the BRAC list; that the City wholeheartedly and enthusiastically supports continued operations at both Red River and Lone Star; and that the City endorses all efforts and will encourage all residents within the City of Texarkana, Arkansas, to endorse such efforts to ensure continued operations at both Red River and Lone Star.

Adopt an Ordinance amending child care center regulations of the City of Texarkana, Arkansas.

Adopt a Resolution making appointments to various boards and commissions. [Board of Adjustment (Chad Dowd), Planning Commission (Bonnie Auck, Eddie L. Gamble, and Charles (Chas) F. Thomas), and Airport Authority (Steven Day and Robert Sanderson)].
