Call to order.

Invocation given by Assistant Mayor Williams.

CONSENT AGENDA

 

A.

Approval of Minutes of the regular meeting of November 7, 2005.

 

B.

Adopt a Resolution approving the Twin City Black History Association’s 15th Annual Black History Parade on February 4, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.

 

C.

Adopt a Resolution awarding a contract for water treatment chemicals. (TWU)

 

D.

Adopt a Resolution declaring one Fire Department 1924 Seagrave Aerial Truck surplus and authorizing its donation to the Texarkana Antique Auto Club and Museum for restoration.

 

E.

Adopt a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a lease agreement with the Texarkana Airport Authority for old airport Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Fire Station.

F.

Adopt a Resolution supporting parity pay for police and fire based on approval of the proposed budget.

4.

Adopt an Ordinance accepting dedication of street right-of-way and public facilities (improvements) within Forest Oaks Eighth Subdivision.

5.

Adopt an Ordinance establishing procedures for implementation of parity pay.

6.

Citizen Communication.

 

 

A limit of five (5) minute per subject is allotted for any person to express a written or oral viewpoint, grievance or other message to the Board of Directors, with a maximum of fifty (50) minutes allotted for citizen communications.  No advance permission is required, but persons wishing to address the Board are requested to fill out a “blue” card listing the subject to be addressed and hand it to the City Clerk upon arrival.  Citizen’s communications will be immediately following the Regular Agenda items on each agenda.

Adopt a Resolution making appointments to various boards and commissions. [Heating & Air Conditioning Board of Review (Charlie Cook), Plumbing Board of Review (Jackie Kirkland, Sr.), and Housing Authority (Vickie Barry Johnson)]
