On Tuesday, August 1st from 6 to 10 pm neighborhoods throughout Texarkana Arkansas will be turning their lights on and spending the evening outside with Texarkana Arkansas Police Officers, Firefighters and City Officials while celebrating the “23rd Annual National Night Out.”
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships, and send a message to criminals that your neighborhood is organized and fighting back.

National Night Out will involve over 10,000 communities in all 50 states and is supported by the Department of Justice.
If you would like to organize an event and join National Night Out contact Officer Chris Rankin at 903-798-3130 for more information or Texarkana Arkansas City Hall at (870)779-4991.
