On 7/24/06 at approximately noon, Texarkana Arkansas Police officers were flagged down regarding a report of a theft just occurred.
An employee of Pepsi Cola had parked a company vehicle outside the Colonial Square Apartment Complex at 1002 Locust Street and was conducting business inside the complex. Shortly thereafter a witness advised the Pepsi employee that two white males and one black male had gained entry to the vehicle and were rummaging through the cab of the vehicle. The witness yelled at the suspects to get out of the truck, at which point they left running eastbound on E.11th street.
The suspects were seen driving away from the complex in a red Ford car, possibly a Crown Victoria or LTD. The vehicle is described as being an older model "box" styled vehicle, possibly an early '80's model.
It was later discovered that an undetermined amount of cash was taken from the Pepsi vehicle. At this time the case is open and witnesses are being sought by detectives.
