Re: Armed Robbery Arrest

Texarkana Arkansas Police have arrested a suspect in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on 8-3-06. Samuel Greer (b/m/33 Texarkana, AR) was arrested after an ongoing investigation by detectives. In this case, a suspect entered the "On the Run Exxon" in the 2300 block of State Line Ave. and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. The suspect then left the store with over $200 in cash.

On Friday August 12th at approximately 3:30pm officer Josh Laster was patrolling the area around E.24th and Jefferson Ave. Officer Laster saw the suspect walking on E.24th street and knew that Greer had an outstanding warrant for robbery. The officer immediately made contact with the suspect who identified himself as Samuel Greer. He was immediately arrested without any incident and charged with Aggravated Robbery. The suspect was booked into the Bi-State Jail and no bond has been set at this time.
