Re: Homicide Suspect in Custody

Texarkana Arkansas Police have arrested Marachelle Yvonnia Reader (b/f/35 Texarkana, AR) on a charge of Murder 2nd Degree in connection with the investigation into the death of Myran Woods. The victim's body was discovered inside his apartment in the 2400 block of Linden on 3-28-07.

Reader was arrested without incident at her residence in Texarkana, AR., and has been booked into the Bi-State Jail. No bond has been set at this time.

The Arkansas State Medical Exainers Office conducted an autopsy on the victim earlier on this date and ruled the victims death a homicide. The victims death was determined to have been caused by multiple stab wounds.

The investigation will continue as further interviews are set to be conducted.
