DRESS CODE
The Teen Court Coordinator and/or the Teen Court Judge reserves the right to refuse to hear the case of any defendant who fails to abide by the outlined dress code. Furthermore, Teen Court will refuse jury duty to jury members fulfilling a teen court sentence who fails to abide the dress code. The following dress code will be observed by defendants, staff members, jury members, and courtroom observers:
- No caps or hats
- No inappropriate logos
- No tank tops or exposed midriffs
- No torn or dirty clothing
- Jeans are allowed if they are neat and clean
- No short shorts or short skirts (fingertip length or longer)
- No sunglasses
- No pajamas
- No sagging pants or exposed underwear
- No beepers or cell phones
- No Flip-Flops
